Keron D. Weigand of Jackson, MI and formerly of Chicago, IL., age 77, has passed away on April 23, 2025. Keron is the daughter of Hillion Tinsley and Nora Buckley.
Keron was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to sew, do puzzles, draw and rescue all different types of animals. She always loved the colors when the leaves changed in the fall and waking up to the beautiful sparking white snow in the winter mornings.
Keron was married to her husband in Battle Creek, MI., August 22, 1971. She is survived by four children, Michele Weigand, Diane (Rich) Gerry, Carol Weigand, Sara (Austin) Winters and fifteen grandchildren, Ryan Weigand, Dustin Gerry, Tabitha (Rick) Pulver, Ashley Gerry, Jonathon Arney, Rebecca Clevenger, Rylee (Matt Mercier) Clevenger, David (Grayson) Gerry, Bethany Parker, Tyler (Lilianna) Gerry, Kenneth Parker, William Clevenger, Hartwell Weigand the 3rd, Emma-Lee Parker and Olivia Sercombe, as well as many great-grandchildren.
Keron was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Weigand and two grandchildren, Rachael Ann Marie Gerry and Paige Ann Marie Gerry.
A graveside service to celebrate Keron and Dennis’ lives will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
