It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kerri Beth (Nickerson) Hitch announce her passing.
Kerri passed peacefully in her sleep on June 10, 2024.
Kerri was born on March 28, 1974, in Marlboro, Massachusetts.
She was the first-born child of Matthew and Pattie (Minehan) Nickerson.
Kerri grew up in Tampa and Plant City, FL.
She graduated from Plant City High School in 1992.
Kerri was an outstanding athlete as a young girl. She excelled in various sports. She was a gymnast and loved being a flier on the vault. She shared the love of golf with her father Matt. Kerri tied for first place for the Junior Club Championship at Carrollwood Country Club in Tampa, FL. She played softball at Citrus Park where she was a pitcher and a shortstop. Kerri became involved with cheerleading during both her junior and senior high school years. She was a born athlete!
Kerri loved the beach. This was her happy place! She spent the last few years visiting family and friends in Florida and enjoying the sunshine and sand between her toes.
After high school, Kerri would move to Cumming, GA
Kerri is survived by four children, Logan Creasy (son), Parker Hitch (son), Ethan Hitch (son) and Amber Hitch (daughter). Also, her parents Matthew and Pattie (Minehan) Nickerson, her siblings, Shelly (Nickerson) Clark (sister) and Tony Clark (brother-in law) and Michael Nickerson (brother).
She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kerri was preceded in death by her paternal Grandmother Viola Nickerson (Nana), and maternal Grandparents Paul Minehan (Papa) and Rosalie Minehan (Meme),
"And He will raise you up on eagles' wings. Bear you on the breath of dawn. Make you shine like the sun. And hold you in the palm of His hand."

She was so friendly and talkative we became friends instantly. She was a very special person with a heart of gold. She gave so much of herself to help others She is going to be missed greatly.
