Mr. Kerry C. Bryan

Kerry Bryan, 79, of Cairo, New York, passed away on December 20, 2025.

He was born in Catskill, New York, to the late Dotty Helm and Virgil Barkman, and was later raised by Alice and Clarance Bryan.

Kerry began his career working for New York State with the Department of General Services in Albany, where he dedicated many years of service. He later proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, Kerry continued his commitment to public service as a police officer for the Town of Middleburg, New York.

Kerry is survived by his former wife, Ruth Lyon, and his children, Lisa Knott, Heather Bier (Mike), Jenn Bier, and Sarah Bryan (Phillip); his grandchildren, Ashley, Aija, Leanne, Lexi, Kayden, Nicholas, and Bellamy, including three great-grandchildren; his sisters, Marilyn, Sharron, and Susan; and his brother, David. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Bobby, Tommy, Ben, and Emily. He was predeceased by his niece, Robin.

Kerry will be remembered for his dedication to public service, his quiet strength, and his love for his family.
