Kerry Wayne Dugan, age 54, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday November 8, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born April 23, 1971, in Dallas, Texas, to Lawanda Diane (Dugan) Oglesby. He will be remembered as a loving, caring person who loved his family and friends deeply. His gentle and kind spirit, faith and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
As a devoted, long-time employee of Forney Fence in Forney, Texas, he excelled at his work and made so many wonderful friends who will miss him terribly. He was always ready to help anyone that was in need. In his spare time, Kerry loved to work on his fishing guide service and especially volunteering with Cast for Kids, a national non-profit organization that hosts fishing events for special needs children.
Kerry was preceded in death by his beloved “Maw-Maw” Aleen Keen and “Paw-Paw” James (Jimmy) Keen.
He is survived by his parents, Richard (Dad) and Lawanda Oglesby, and sister, Tennile Kothmann and husband, Keven, of Mason, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, Jordan Haynie and husband, Chance, and Kelly Snead and husband, Sean, both of Mason, Texas; along with great-nephews, Brantlin Ramon and Huntlin Haynie; and great-nieces, Ila Ramon and Olivia Snead.
A casual celebration of Kerry’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 Interstate 20 Frontage Road, Willow Park, Texas. Burial will be in Mason, Texas.
