Kerry married the love of her life, Satish Iyer, on October 10, 2010, in Des Moines. Together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support for all who entered their lives. Kerry's greatest joy was caring for her family, especially in watching her son, Ian (14), play baseball. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, and any hobby that allowed her to create something meaningful for those she loved.
Before starting her own family, Kerry devoted herself to caring for her grandmother, Dorothy McCormick, a role she embraced with tenderness and devotion. She was cherished by her nieces and nephews, whom she helped care for throughout the years. Family was the heart of Kerry's life, and she found her deepest happiness when surrounded by those she loved.
Kerry received her formal education in Medical Records Billing and Coding from Indian Hills College and later earned her certification as a Medical Records Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders. She worked with dedication and focus throughout her career, ultimately serving with Baylor, Scott and White Hospital Systems before medically retiring in 2023.

Medina & Rose Mary Medina.
