Keven Dale Betts, 65, passed away on October 14, 2025, in St. George, Utah, due to complications from surgery.
Keven was born on July 19, 1960, in Payson, Utah, to E.J. and Bernice Betts. He graduated from Payson High School in 1979. Shortly after, while on a visit to his summer home in Koosharem, Utah, Keven met the love of his life, Kathy Ann White, while she was working at their favorite restaurant, The Grand Western.
Keven and Kathy were married on May 31, 1980, and later sealed their marriage on February 14, 2002, in the Manti Temple. Together they raised three children, Brad, Sheryl, and Brock, and were blessed with two grandchildren, Brashelle and Brock.
Keven had a lifelong passion for cars and anything related to auto work. He was employed at several collision and auto body repair shops, where his love for painting grew. He later worked for White's Custom Painting for over 30 years and also owned his own business, Keven's Sandblasting.
One of Keven and Kathy's greatest joys was running their family fireworks stand, proudly serving the Richfield community for many years with the best fireworks around.
Keven loved supporting his children and grandchildren in every way he could. He was always just a phone call away, as long as you had a little time to spare for a good chat. Keven had the biggest heart and touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Keven is survived by his daughter, Sheryl; granddaughter, Brashelle; and grandson, Brock; sisters, Gail Betts and Regina Betts.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathy; sons, Brad and Brock; parents, E.J. and
Bernice Betts; in-laws, Doug and Peggy White; brother Gene Betts, sister Juanita Williams; and sister-in-law, Cheryl White.
