Keven Latimer, 68, of
Piggott, Arkansas, passed away February 10, 2026, at Piggott Community Hospital in
Piggott, Arkansas.
He was born on March 15, 1957, and was the son of the late Glen Carlos and Wilma (Hester) Latimer; and a very special aunt, Ruby Latimer.
On September 3, 2008, he was united in marriage to Brenda Hargrove. She survives. He is also survived by his children: Katie Lipsey and husband Travis of
Piggott, Arkansas; Lora Latimer of
Piggott, Arkansas; and Russ Latimer and wife Whitney of Knobel, Arkansas; mother of his children, Mona Murray of Knobel, Arkansas. He is also survived by step-children, Chad Tompkins and David Tompkins and wife Tara.
He leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Zane Wallace, Ben Latimer, Will Lipsey, Zeb Wallace, Jett Latimer, Zak Wallace, Ruby Latimer, Ryan Tompkins, Keaton Brooks and wife Breanna, Caleb Tompkins and wife Nellie, Kaylyn Mays and husband Ethan, and Kaylee Tompkins; and great-grandchildren Adelyn Grace, Waylan, and Amelia. Keven dearly loved cheering on his grandchildren in all they did, especially watching them show their cows and attending their sporting events. He rarely missed an opportunity to be there, proudly supporting them and celebrating their hard work and accomplishments.
He is survived by his brother, Mike Latimer and wife Debbie of Paragould, Arkansas; his aunt, Julia Trout and husband Don of Paragould, Arkansas; his uncle, Barry Hester and wife Brenda of Arkansas; his aunt, Joyce Latimer of

He was a true "jack of all trades," someone who could build or fix nearly anything. He enjoyed trading, swapping, and selling, and spent many years auctioneering with Magee Auctioneering. He loved hunting deer and rabbit, running dogs, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he loved his family and was known for his good jokes, playful pranks, and gift for storytelling.
He will be remembered as a hardworking provider, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a man who never met a stranger.
