Kevin Lawrence Austin Sr.

Kevin Lawrence Austin (KK), of 1028 Fruit Ave, Farrell, PA entered into eternal life on Monday (9/9/2024) in his residence, he was 55.
He was born on March 30, 1969, the son of Lawrence R and Jawdy Williams Austin. He was a 1987 graduate of West Middlesex High School, where he was a proud member of the West Middlesex Big Reds football team. After graduating, Kevin bravely served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was employed with Victor Printing Company for over ten years before retiring in 2006.
Kevin was the proud owner and creator of Luckis4rabbits online clothing apparel and custom hand tied jigs, Digital Creator of Western Pennsylvania Anglers, a member of the Allegheny Chapter GPAA, and former owner, along with his mother, of J&K's Fashions.
Kevin was an avid fisherman, hunter, and an all around outdoor sportsman enthusiast. If he was not fishing, he was dedicating his time being an umpire official for numerous little league baseball teams throughout the Mercer County area. Kevin loved to find and collect antiques and various treasures. He was a diehard Raiders fan and would attend many Scrappers games with friends and family. Kevin was an early riser and constantly winning prizes from WFMJ Today Trivia Contest.
He is survived by his mother, siblings; Angel Coach, Houston, TX, Trevor (Tony) Austin, West Middlesex, PA, Jawdy (Tiny) Austin, West Middlesex, PA, son Kevin Lawrence Austin II, Marianville, PA, daughter Lauryn R. Hatch, Erie, PA, grandchildren Samaya Ellis, Ada Manning, and Ky'Zaire Hill, a host of nieces and nephews, family, and special friends and fishing buddies, Sam Hosey, Jack Peterson, Robert Peterson, Sr, Sonny Peterson and Robert (Scrap) Peterson, Jr, and his loyal four legged friend, Knockout.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, brother Shawn Eugene Austin, paternal and maternal grandparents and best friend Eric (Spider) Cleveland.
He will be sadly missed by many friends, family, and fellow fisherman he met on the water.
