Kevin Barnes Obituary
Kevin lived to serve others-leading many to God. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, always seeing the good in people and never hesitating to lend a hand. Known as the life of the party and a tireless worker, his energy and kindness touched countless lives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, D.A. and Hattie Barnes; uncles, Terry Barnes Sr. and Donald Barnes; aunt, Cindy Barnes Ray; and stepmother, Renee Barnes.
Kevin leaves behind a family who loved him deeply: his wife, Charlene Barnes; daughter, Kaylee Barnes; stepsons: James, Jared and Carson; grandchildren, Kylan Heard and Gavin Yearwood; mother, Kimberly Coburn; father, Michael Barnes; grandmother, Carol Smith; sisters, Kelsie Rodriguez and Ashlie Rodriguez; niece, Charlee Gibson; nephews, Landen Exum and Hayden; aunt, Sherrie Barnes; and uncle, Ronnie Bennett.
Visitation is 4:00-8:00 pm Wednesday and 1:00-2:00 pm Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Service to follow at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
