Kevin Victor Bechard of Detroit, Michigan, formerly of Trenton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the age of 33. Beloved son of Victor Bechard and Martha Bechard. Cherished brother of Neeley (Jeff) Gilbert, Kyle (Erienne) Rodriguez, and Stephanie (Charles) Birkeland. Loving uncle of Dylan, Tyson, Max, Colt, Sloan, and Smith. Dearest grandson of Ray Click and nephew of Rodney (the late Kim) Dusincki, Rebecca (Doug) Robinson, and Robyn Bohning-Bechard. Adored boyfriend of Sydnee Schuetz. Doting cat-dad of Faye Valentine. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents Betty Jo Click and John and Valeria Dusincki. He is survived by a vast set of devoted friends, cousins, and family.
To know Kevin was to love him. He was full of life and laughter and was the most genuine person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a music man who enjoyed playing guitar and listening to his extensive vinyl collection. He had a deep love of reading and Detroit sports. Whether it was hiking in the woods or fishing on the Great Lakes, Kevin was truly happiest and at peace when he was surrounded by nature. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation for Kevin will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48180. The funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, September 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Kevin will be inurned at a later date in a private family ceremony.
