Kevin Lee Benham passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 25, 1956, in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, Kevin's life was marked by a deep commitment to his family and a passion for his work.
For over 15 years, he dedicated himself to maintenance roles at the Jeffersonville Elks and Covered Bridge Golf Courses. Kevin found joy in working on motorcycles and flying remote-controlled planes, pursuits that highlighted his technical abilities. He was a faithful member of Beacon Missionary Baptist Church since October of 1977.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Audrey Benham, whose steadfast support was a cornerstone of their life together. Kevin took immense pride in his family, which includes his sons, Jason (Kassidy) Benham and Timothy Benham. He was a doting grandfather to Gavin Clark and Katelyn Benham, and he eagerly anticipated welcoming another grandchild into the family as well. He is also survived by his great-grandchild, Jackson Benham, who brought him great joy.
Kevin's legacy extends to his siblings, Edward (Shirley) Lawson, Debbie Adcock, Garlina (Kenny) Flood, Joshalyn Conklin, and Garland "Tray" Benham III, all of whom carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland Benham Jr. and Lois Dye.
As we remember Kevin Lee Benham, we celebrate a life well-lived.
