Kevin M. Bushee

Kevin M. Bushee, 54, of Warwick, unexpectedly passed away June 29, 2025 after a great week enjoying the Gaspee Celebrations and Father's Day with his loving family and friends.
Kevin was born in Providence, and spent his younger years surrounded by many lifelong friends who he met through the Edgewood Little League playing baseball and pickup basketball. As a kid, he spent hours devoted to building an impressive baseball trading card collection. He attended Cranston East High School, graduating in 1988. Sports continued to play a significant role in Kevin's life. He was an avid Boston Sports Fan, enjoying watching Larry Bird and the Celtics as a family. He continued to enjoy the Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins throughout his life, especially when gathered with family and friends. He also liked fishing.
Kevin enjoyed sports cars, particularly his black Corvette Stingray. Moments with Kevin were always a laughter-filled adventure. His presence was easily recognizable by the sounds of his boisterous laughter. He had a way of bringing out the best in everyone and encouraging those around him to live their life to the fullest. He had a special place in his heart for his niece Kim, nephew Andrew, and great-nephew Bennett. Kevin got great joy from his pets: Matisse, Spencer, Jethro, and Mully. He had a newfound love for gardening, especially vibrant sunflowers.
Kevin was the beloved son of Robert R. Bushee Sr. and his fiancé Barbara A. Wilson, and the late Patricia A. (Butler) Bushee, the dedicated brother of Lori Curry and her husband Ken, and the late Robert R. Bushee Jr.; caring uncle to Kimberly N. Galaz and her husband Leandro, and Andrew Curry and his wife Aimee Chartier; caring great-uncle to Bennett; and close friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation from 4pm to 7pm on Sunday, July 6, 2025 in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. A Funeral Service will gather at 10:45am, and be held at 11am on Monday, July 7, 2025 in the Funeral Home.
