Robert W. McInerney II, born on August 28, 1978, in Providence, Rhode Island, passed away on October 22, 2025,surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of Anne (Ramos) and Robert “Bob” W. McInerney.

A graduate of Cranston East High School, Robert was known for his impeccable memory and keen awareness of the world around him. A contractor in the family flooring business, Robert worked daily alongside his father, embodying dedication and pride in his work while also nurturing a deep sense of familial connection.

He had a smile that was both bright and sweet, bringing joy to all who encountered him. His niece and nephews, affectionately referring to him as “Uncle Duck,” meant the world to him, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments, reveling in the happiness they brought into his life.

Robert was a true character, possessing a vibrant personality that earned him many nicknames. He had a passion for staying in the loop, whether it was the latest gossip or the day’s weather forecast, often earning him playful remarks that he missed his true calling in journalism. It was this engaging charm that made him a beloved figure among family and friends.

An enthusiast of fashion and a keen admirer of name-brand clothing, Robert’s sense of style was notable. He had an impressive collection of colognes, which kept him smelling fresh and sophisticated. His love for music was evident, with Janet Jackson being his favorite, although he enjoyed various genres and artists throughout his life.

Robert found great joy in the simple pleasures, like a perfect day at the beach, often imagined with a glass of sangria in hand. His favorite shopping spots included Macy's and Nordstrom, reflecting his unique taste and love for certain brands.

He is survived by his father, Robert W. McInerney; his mother, Anne M. (Ramos) McInerney; his sister, Stephanie Parent and her husband Jason; and his brother, Seth McInerney. His affectionate bonds extended to his niece, Madison Parent, and his nephews, Knox McInerney and Lex McInerney, each of whom held a special place in his heart and brought him immense joy.

Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours on November 1, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00pm at Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston. His Funeral Service will be held at 4:00pm. Burial will be private.

Robert W. McInerney, II, will be remembered not only for his vibrant personality and deep commitment to family but also for the countless smiles and cherished memories he created along the way. His legacy of love will undoubtedly continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.
