Dischinger, Kevin P age 68 born in Robbinsdale, MN, raised in North Minneapolis, MN and he called Long Prairie, MN his last home on earth before going on to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21st, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents Clem and Rose, brother Steve, brother-in-law Steve Weibye, sisters Helen(Tom) Schmidt, Cece(Dave) Jochim, Mary Taillefer, Carole Poland, nephew Jason Rother and niece Laura Dischinger. Kevin left high school to join the Marines and served in Okinawa, Japan. He came back as a big kid at heart with a unique sense of humor. He never missed a moment to show his love for his family and friends by helping with projects or with his passion for big kid toys. Kevin tried hard to dump riders off sleds and tubes behind his snowmobiles or boat, family camping trips, or driving his Pontiac Firebird or lifted Ford Bronco while the radio was playing loud. Even when his health was poor he would try his best to be with family and friends. He will be very missed and survived by 2 brothers Richard(Terese) and Kent, 2 sisters Patricia Weibye and Valarie Ylonen, brother-in-law Tom Taillefer, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and at least 16 great-great nieces and nephews as well as his best friend Randy and other close friends.The internment at Fort Snelling will be on Tuesday, August 26th at 11 a.m. Assembly area number 2. Please arrive no later then 10:45AM In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Coon Rapids Washburn McReavy Attn: Joy Heifort. The family will donate in Kevin's memory!
