David Jeffrey Dischinger, 48, of Louisville passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
He worked as a property manager for Winterwood, Inc., worked for 20 years at Famous Dave's Restaurant, and was a very proud Eagle Scout.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stephen and Margaret Price and Urban and Mildred Dischinger.
He is survived by his loving parents, Ronald Lee and Margaret Alice Dischinger; brothers, Christopher Lee Dischinger (Lisa), Robert Joseph Dischinger (Daphne); sister, Janet Marie Dischinger; nieces and nephews, Ryan Jacob Dischinger (Ellie), Kara Marie Dischinger (Russ Wallace), Sierra Delann Dischinger, Daniel Joseph Dischinger, Jackson Tyler Austin; great nieces, Sophie June and Lily Fay Dischinger; and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at Church of the Ascension 4600 Lynnbrook Drive with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Road.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Diabetes Association and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
