Kevin Michael Dodge

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Michael Dodge on September 17, 2024 at the age of 54. Kevin was born on September 28, 1969, in Minneapolis, MN to parents Dianne (Strese) Schulze and Donald Dodge.
Kevin was raised in Eagan, MN and graduated from Rosemount High School in 1988. He pursued a career in car sales and was a successful Finance Manager. He was known for his quick wit, and his unwavering loyalty to the people he loved.
However, Kevin also struggled with alcoholism, a disease that ultimately took him from us far too soon. Despite his efforts and the support of those closest to him, he fought a battle that many never fully saw. While his addiction was a part of his life, it does not define the man he was. He was so much more - a kind, loving, and generous soul who tried his best, even in the face of great difficulty.
Though his passing leaves a void that can never be filled, his memory will live on in our hearts.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Dianne (Strese) Schulze and her husband Robert Schulze, his siblings, Margie (Shawn) Mittelstadt, and Darren Dodge. His nieces, Brooke (Austyn) Tieben, Ellie, and nephew Breyden, as well as many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Dodge, grandparents Ervin and Margaret Strese, uncles Jimmy, Johnny, Stevie, Chief, aunts Joanne, Marcy, Jeanne, and his cousin Ryan. His family asks that in this time of grief, we also remember the importance of compassion and understanding toward those who are struggling with addiction.
A celebration of life will be held on October 1, 2024 at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, at 5:00pm, and a gathering of family and friends will take place an hour before.
Rest in peace, dear brother. You are finally free. We will love you always.
