Kevin Andrew Edelmann, 57, of Linden, Michigan, left this world for another on January 9th, surrounded by his family. A man of the highest caliber, a caring husband, and an instructive and encouraging father, he will be remembered by all as a bastion of strength and wisdom.
Born December 30th, 1968, Kevin was the youngest born to Karl and Roberta Edelmann, and was raised in the Detroit area with his siblings, Karl, Kurt, Ken, and Kathy. Kevin was an avid fan of comics, sci-fi, and games - hobbies he kept through his entire life.
On June 7th, 1997, Kevin married his Queen, Rebecca "Becky" Hubler, whom he loyally cherished. They were married for 28 years, but their love for each other transcends time and space. They had two children, Parker and Olivia, who were his pride and joy. Kevin particularly enjoyed playing games, watching movies, and visiting interesting places with his children, and is admired for his firm but gentle parenting and desire to have fun with family.
Kevin attended college at Central Michigan University, studying to become an accountant, and later became a CPA. He was an auditor for the automotive and insurance industries. Kevin quickly became a distinguished advisor and later pivoted to the software industry and was beloved by co-workers and clients for his prowess as a consultant.
Kevin is survived in death by his wife, Rebecca Edelmann, his son, Parker Edelmann, his daughter, Olivia Edelmann, his brothers, Karl (Sandy), Kurt, and Ken Edelmann, and his sister, Kathy (Kyler) Edelmann.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roberta and Karl Edelmann, and his sisters in-law, Jackie Edelmann, Susanne Edelmann, and Heidi Edelmann.
