Kevin Gastright Obituary

Kevin Patrick Gastright, born August 10, 1964 in Harrison, Ohio, passed away August 12, 2025 in Dayton, Kentucky. He was truly a bright light in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Kevin's journey on earth was one marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God that inspired those around him. Though he may have left this world, his spirit continues to sparkle in the hearts of his family, friends, and countless others who were lucky enough to have shared moments with him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kevin is survived by, Susan Gastright, Mike Brumbaugh and Amy Hammons. He also leaves behind his uncle Len Kuntz, a cherished nephew, Matthew Gastright, and a wonderfully supportive network of family and friends. He is now reunited with his parents, Robert and Janice Gastright, and his brother, Bobby Gastright, who welcomed him back with open arms.

Did you know Kevin was quite the trailblazer? He became the youngest person in Kentucky to earn his Master Electrician’s license! He had a knack for fixing things, earning him the reputation of being able to repair just about anything—an impressive skill that he happily shared with those around him. He also enjoyed traveling to places like Amsterdam and Hawaii, adored his pets and found the most solace being outdoors hiking.

Join us in celebrating Kevin’s remarkable life on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 4pm - 7pm, at Lookout Farm Club House, located at 100 Lookout Farm Dr, Crestview Hills, KY 41017.
