Kevin Gore Obituary

Kevin attended St. Juliana School, DeLaSalle Collegiate 1966, and earned his Bachelor Degree from University of Michigan 1970.
Kevin met the love of his life, wife Virginia (Gallo) "Ginny" through mutual friends and married in 1977. Kevin and Ginny were blessed with 2 sons, Brian Peter and Brendan Joseph. Kevin was very proud of the men his sons have become and their extraordinary talents. He and Ginny enjoyed camping, birding and bicycling. Kevin was ever so positive, appreciated and loved Ginny's cooking. Kevin's favorites were Boston Creme Pie and his drink of choice was Scotch.
Kevin, a staunch supporter of the University of Michigan, Kevin held season football tickets for 50 years. He thoroughly enjoyed golfing with Brian and friends. Kevin, Brendan and Brian attended many sporting events and Kevin was excellent at handball, beating the Brothers at DeLaSalle, also tennis and racquetball were sports he enjoyed. Kevin was a voracious reader and loved doing daily crossword puzzles. Retirement allowed Kevin to be active with the Gaelic League of Detroit/Irish American Club and researching his Irish roots.
Kevin was a Purchasing Manager for Wall Colmonoy (world-wide leader in cobalt-based powdered alloys.)
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Virginia ("Ginny") and his children, Brian Peter and Brendan Joseph.
A memorial gathering for Kevin will be held, Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10am to 11:30am at WUJEK-CALCATERRA - 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd, Shelby Twp. 48316 followed by a short service.
Kevin has requested attire be Maize and Blue.

Ginny and Family. Words fall short of expressing our profound sadness.
