Kevin Halpin Obituary

Kevin was born in Utica, NY on April 21, 1960, was a graduate of New Hartford High School and attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Kevin worked in retail for most of his career. Most recently he was employed by Walmart Corp.
Kevin is predeceased by his father, Thomas Halpin, his stepson, Joey Penree, and his wife, the love of his life, Deborah Penree-Halpin.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores Halpin, siblings; Patrick (Brenda) Halpin, Barbara (Harry) Smith, William (Sharon) Halpin, Chris Halpin, his stepdaughter Stacey Panuccio and dear friend, Patti Craven. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
The fair-haired boy, as described by his father, was a natural athlete showing no mercy when playing doubles tennis with family members. He looked forward to summer softball league to spend time with friends.
Kevin enjoyed the family tradition of suffering through New York Giant football games. He was also an avid fan of the NY Rangers. His most recent hobby was photography, catching priceless family moments.
However, he cherished most of all the time spent with his loving wife, Debbie.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 5-6 pm at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral services will commence immediately following visitation at 6 pm.

Kevin trained me at Walmart. He showed me everything he knew and took a vested interest in me. I owe a lot to him and still follow what he taught me. GOD Bless Kevin. I´ll miss you.

I worked with Kevin at Ames and Walmart´s. He was such a real nice guy. Also worked with his wife. Sending hugs and prayers to family and friends of Kevin
