Kevin Hendley
William Kevin Hendley, age 67, of Edwardsville, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 8th, 2025, at his home. A visitation will be 10 a.m.- noon, followed by the Memorial Service at Noon, both on Saturday, Sept. 20th, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. The family strongly suggests memorial contributions to the ALS Association Mid-America Chapter or the PVA, Gateway Chapter in St. Louis.
Kevin was born on December 26, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, and was the youngest of two children born to William W. & Billie "Jean" (Carmody) Hendley, Jr. He grew up in St. Louis County and graduated from Pattonville High School in the Class of 1976. After graduating, Kevin joined the U.S. Air Force, serving until 1978. After the service, he worked in the Oil Fields in Louisiana and Oklahoma. Kevin graduated from Mid-America Nazarene College in 1987 in Olathe, KS. While in College, he worked construction in the Kansas City area and then worked as an over-the-road truck Driver, traveling all over the continental US. Later, he worked with the Boilermakers Union, Local #83, until his retirement in 2017. When his son was young, he was involved in the Boy Scouts Troop #22 and #14. Kevin enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping with his NA friends, traveling, and getting together with family. In recent years, he would not let ALS slow him down; he was able to enjoy Scuba Diving, Snow Skiing, and Water Skiing.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Denise Hendley of the home, son Anthony Riley Pascazi of Kansas City, KS., sister Cassandra Halter of Florissant, MO. Two nieces, four nephews, as well as other extended family and many, many friends.
