It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin Francis Honican, who left this world peacefully in Milford, Ohio, on April 28, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on December 21, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Eugene and Iola (nee Linville) Honican.
A proud painter in the auto industry, Kevin was known for his meticulous skills, a craft he thoroughly enjoyed. Beyond his profession, he had a passion for woodworking and an eye for art. Approached life with an unwavering optimism, always ready to share a laugh, and his good-natured, no-nonsense demeanor endeared him to family and friends alike.
Kevin found immense joy in the time spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren, who lit up his world. Fishing and camping trips were among his favorite pastimes, where he created countless memories surrounded by nature, laughter, and his loved ones.
Kevin was the beloved husband of 49 years to Sara E. Honican (nee McFarland); Loving father of Alex (Sarah) Honican and Karrie (Jay) Smith; Dear Papaw of Kevin Aden, Gavin, Gretchen, and Kera; Brother of Darrell and Lori. Kevin is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Along with his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by his siblings Phoebe, Gary, Richard, and Karen.
Funeral services will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on Friday, May 2, 2025. A visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 3:00 PM. All who knew Kevin are invited to gather to celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the spirit of a man who touched the hearts of many.
