Kevin Jason Jesnes, 36, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on June 6, 2024, in Jacksonville, FL. Jason was
born in Jacksonville, FL on June 6, 1988.
He graduated from First Coast High School in 2006. Jason was a dedicated employee at GPE Landscape
and Lawn Care, where he poured his hard work and dedication into his career. Known for his kindness
and willingness to lend a helping hand, Jason was cherished by his friends and family. He loved playing
baseball in his youth and enjoyed teaching his nephew, Von, how to hit home runs and catch pop flies.
Jason loved Von more than anything. His favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas. He enjoyed
fishing and going to the beach in his free time. He looked forward to watching the Florida-Georgia game
each and every year. He had a beautiful smile and a loud and bold personality.
Jason is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Joseph Jesnes and Elsie Jesnes (Dobloug)and
maternal grandparents: Harold Cubbedge and Hilde Cubbedge (Weidemer)and best friend Billy Wayne
Houston.
He is survived by his father Kevin Jesnes, mother Laura Jesnes (Cubbedge), sister Jessica Odum (Jesnes),
brother in law Jamie Odum, nephew Von Odum; and countless family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held for Jason Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11 AM at Cedar Bay Funeral Home,
405 New Berlin road, Jacksonville, FL,32218.
