James Allan Arnett, 50, born on December 24, 1973, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 28, 2024. Known as Jimmy to all who knew and loved him, will be greatly missed here on earth, but knowing he's probably singing in God's heavenly choir brings peace to his family.
He received his early education at Victory Christian Academy and Southern Baptist Academy before attending First Coast High School where he graduated in the class of 1992.
Jimmy loved to sing and entered several local karaoke competitions where he always placed in the top five and even won a few. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and would have enjoyed their game against Georgia Tech on Friday night.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Sonya Arnett. He is survived by his stepchildren Christopher and Amber Marshall, his devoted parents Sandy and Tollie Arnett, his sister Tammy Scott, his nephews David and Daniel Scott, his best friend Tracee Arnold, and several aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday December 6th at 2pm In the Chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd Jacksonville Florida, 32218.
The Family will receive Friends from 1:30-2pm at the funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Cedar Bay Funeral Home
