Kevin Gene Maynard, age 61 of Zebulon, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center.

He was a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ.

Kevin was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on February 25, 1964, a son of the late Bobby Gene and Norma Jeanette Lowe Maynard.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Kent Maynard.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Leigh Edmonds Maynard, two sons, Jacob Carl Maynard (Carolyn Renea) of Zebulon, Kentucky and Will Lucas Maynard (Katlin Maria) of Bee, Virginia and a granddaughter, Willow Rae Maynard.

He is also survived by one brother, Paul David Maynard of Harold, also a niece, Hannah Roberts and a nephew, Cameron Maynard

Visitation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2025, and also after 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, with evening services at 7:00 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services will be 12 o'clock Noon, Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Trey Mouton officiating. Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Mike's Branch.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Kevin's memory to the International Disaster Emergency Services - IDES.org
