Kevin McGrain, 68, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023.
Among his life accomplishments, the most memorable were the qualities that made him an incredible father, husband, brother, friend, and colleague. He was hard working and driven in all aspects of life, whether on the golf course, in his finance career, and, maybe most importantly for him, as an adoring "Pop-Pop" to his grandchildren.
He was an avid beer drinker, traveler, and seer-of good in people. Born on November 11, 1954 in Rome, NY, Kevin attended Seton Hall University, graduating in 1976. He then went on to obtain his MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson, graduating in 1978. He moved on to a financial position in Manhattan, which is where he met his wife of 38 years, Linda. Formerly of West Windsor, New Jersey, he passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family in their current residence of South Carolina.
In his memory we have chosen to support his favorite thing of all, golf. First Tee provides opportunities and scholarships for children to get out on the golf course where they learn the basics of the sport, as well as a variety of life skills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's name to First Tee - Greater Charleston here: https://firstteegreatercharleston.org/ways-to-give/donate/
We would love it for anyone who knew Kevin at any point in his life to visit his memorial page and leave photos, tributes, and stories - so we can all continue to remember him and find comfort in memories.

I have been at two companies where Kevin left his mark (FullBeauty Brands & Orchard Brands). Kevin was a smart, thoughtful man - and an all around good guy. Condolences to the McGrain family from all of us.

A great guy....a great golfer. I enjoyed his company and conversation when he was a member of The Carolina Country Club. He always spoke lovingly of his family. Too soon.

Kevin Mcgrain was an incredible man. A leader with impeccable judgement. Kevin showed me first hand how to run a business. He will be missed. His humor, his humbleness. A great loss
