Kevin A. Powers

Kevin A. Powers, age 78, of Bellevue - formerly of Carrick, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Son of the late Ethel (Shultz) and nephew of his late uncle Carney.

Beloved husband of Karen (Foster) Powers; father of Brian Powers (Stacey), Jen Powers, and Lauren Powers (Brennan Reilly); step-father of Joseph Nicholas (Janelle), Joshua Nicholas (Katie), and Amanda Salem (Sean); grandfather of Julia, Amelia, Maelynn, Madison, Danyel, Devan, Lyla, Andi, Owen, and Douglas; brother of Ron Powers (Bev), Phyllis Kraus (late, Glenn), Noreen Black (Steve), and the late Kathy Powers and Denise Murray (surviving, Tom). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, 1 great-great-nephew, and his loving furry family.

Family will welcome friends on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA 15229, where a service will be held on Saturday at 11am.

Kevin was a proud union trolley operator for Port Authority and volunteered in his community of O'Hara Township for the auxiliary police. Upon his retirement he worked as a school bus driver and trainer, a driver for Teamsters Local 249 for cast and crew on many Pittsburgh films, and a worker for concerts and events for IA3. In his free time he loved attending car shows, racing Mopar, eating ice cream and pies and spending time with his friends, pets, and family, especially his loving grandchildren.
