Kevin Daron Redman, 57, of Mindenmines, Missouri, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He faced his long battle with cancer with unwavering strength and a positive spirit

Born on October 25, 1967, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Kenton Redman and Darlene Bartlett, Kevin lived a life full of love, laughter, and hard work. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, easy smile, and unwavering dedication to the people he loved.

Throughout his career, Kevin worked at Atkinson Industries, Unique Metals, and WATCO Companies. In the final years of his professional life, he traveled extensively for work before concluding his career at Missouri Truss. His strong work ethic and commitment were evident in everything he did.

Outside of work, Kevin found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He was happiest with a grill or smoker close by, sharing his love of BBQ and good company with those around him.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Redman; his children, Kia (Fritz) Vasquez of Springfield, MO, Jordan Redman of Mindenmines, MO, and Brandon (Stephanie) Redman of Lamar, MO; his grandchildren, Freddy Vasquez, Oliver Vasquez, Hudson Redman, and Cole Redman; and his sister, Tanya (Danny) Redman Hunter of Sarcoxie, MO.

He is preceded in death by his father, Kenton Redman, and his mother, Darlene Bartlett.

A memorial service celebrating Kevin’s life will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Kevin’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed.
