Kevin Ruthenberg Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 4, 2024.
Kevin Robert Ruthenberg, age 50, of Warren, passed away on December 31, 2023.
Kevin was born on July 20, 1973 in Warren, MI to his parents Robert and Marion Ruthenberg.
Kevin had a lot of knowledge on many different topics and could hold conversations with anyone at any level in any setting. His knowledge and appreciation for all types of music is top of the list. If you ever needed a wing man at music trivia night Kevin was your guy. He connected with people in so many other ways as well. He enjoyed watching and talking about hockey with his favorite teams being the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings. For over 30 years Kevin made friends at darts and league. He loved to go camping and to spend time outdoors.
If you know Kevin you also know he had a great ability to create. He had a real gift when it came to writting. Anything from a basic journal entry to a short story, poems and yes even a novel. His book collection is big and he loved adding to it and sharing them with others.
Kevin was overall a nice guy and will be missed by many.
Kevin is survived by his mother Marion Ruthenberg, brother Keith (Beth) Ruthenberg, niece Briana Mulkeran and Aunt Charlotte Meyer.
He was preceded in passing by his father Robert Ruthenberg (d. 1999) and sister Sandee Mulkeran (d. 2018).
Friends may visit the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Saturday, January 6, 2024 for a memorial gathering from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with a memorial service at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for you to consider a donation to The Capuchin Soup Kitchen, a local charity.
