Kevin Sasser, a beloved individual with a special and unique life journey, has departed from this world on October 31st, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and an indelible mark on the hearts of his loved ones. He was born on July 29th, 1986, in Jackson, Tennessee, and it was in this same city that he took his final breaths.

Kevin's personality was filled with love and affection, which he received in abundance from his devoted family, who took excellent care of him and special caregivers, Gene and Phyllis Lax - his aunt and uncle. Throughout his life, Kevin found joy in the simple pleasures that surrounded him. He particularly enjoyed going for rides around town and spending quality time watching television. The beauty of nature never failed to captivate him as he delighted in observing the birds fluttering outside his window. Tunes resonated deeply within his heart, making music an important part of his life. Additionally, Kevin reveled in the delights of dining at McDonald's and relished the soothing waters of his hot tub. It is worth noting that Kevin was a true Coca-Cola fanatic; this beverage held a special place in his heart.

Kevin's presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by Lester and Frances Gatewood, his maternal grandparents; as well as Stephen and Valeria Sasser, his paternal grandparents. The bonds he formed went beyond blood ties; they were electric with warmth and affection.

He leaves behind a grieving but strong family who will forever cherish their memories with him. Wanda Sasser mourns the loss of her beloved son alongside Keith Sasser - Kevin's father - both forever changed by the presence he brought into their lives. In addition to them, Kimberly Tigner - Kevin's sister - is left with profound sorrow but also an enduring appreciation for the sibling bond they shared. Brian Tigner stood by Kimberly as her companion throughout their journey, and he too mourns the departure of Kevin. Furthermore, Tayler Tigner, Kevin's niece, is deeply saddened by the loss of her uncle and will forever carry the memories they created together.

Kevin's unique and special life will be celebrated and remembered by all who knew him. The impact he made on the lives of his family and friends is immeasurable, as he taught them the true meaning of love, acceptance, and finding joy in life's simplest moments.

As we bid farewell to Kevin, let us honor his memory by cherishing our loved ones tightly and embracing the beauty that surrounds us daily. May his spirit find eternal peace in a world that will continually bear witness to his legacy.  Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to the Autism Society https://autismsociety.org/donate/.
