Kevin Vaughn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel on Dec. 19, 2025.
Kevin Lee Vaughn Sr., 61, of El Reno, Oklahoma, passed away on December 16, 2025. Born on August 24, 1964, in Purcell, Oklahoma, Kevin was the beloved youngest son of the late Betty Lou Ann Wade and Clarence Wayne Vaughn. He graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Oklahoma, proudly becoming the only one of his siblings to achieve that milestone.
Kevin lived a life centered around family, laughter, and love. He was known for his quick wit and remarkable ability to fill any room with laughter. His humor and warmth followed him everywhere he went, and those who knew him will forever remember his contagious smile and playful spirit.
Kevin enjoyed the simple joys of life. He loved fishing and hunting, attending concerts, and spending time outdoors. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren, who were the center of his world. He was a devoted father and grandfather who took great pride in his family and found his greatest happiness surrounded by those he loved.
Kevin was a hard worker who took great pride in his work. He was deeply cherished by his work family, who respected him not only for his dedication and strong work ethic, but also for his kindness, humor, and loyalty. His presence left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Lou Ann Wade and Clarence Wayne Vaughn, and his sister, Venice Thompson.
He is survived by his children: Michael Vaughn; Bridgette Vaughn; Cadey and husband Nick Travis; Farrin and husband Cody Pitts; Kevin Lee Vaughn Jr. and husband Devin Vaughn; Sierra Vaughn and fiancé Connor Maytes; his beloved grandchildren: Lyndsee, Leeam, Ryker, Corbin, Trinity, Kynslee, Miguel, Faith, and Neveah; his siblings, Beverly Wagoner and Melvin Vaughn; along with many loved nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on December 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at John M. Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, Oklahoma 73160.
Kevin's memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave so freely, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Kevin, please visit our floral store.
