Obituary of Kevin L. Williams

Rochester - Kevin L. Williams, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 66. Known to many simply as "Turtle," Kevin lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and generosity.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Kevin could often be found cheering for his Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Tigers, or out on the golf course, bowling lanes, or soccer field. He also loved the outdoors, especially camping trips surrounded by family and friends. At home, Kevin was famous for his canned peaches, legendary peach cobbler, and homemade jerky, all made with the same love he poured into everything he did.

Kevin had a heart of gold. He was the kind of man who would drop everything to help someone in need-whether it was a close friend or a complete stranger. Those who knew him best often said he "would give the shirt off his back" without hesitation.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Arline Williams, and his brother-in-law, Gilbert Eller. He is survived by his loving daughter, Breanna Williams (Casey Uschold); his brother, Curt Williams; his sisters, Cindy (John) Caloritis and Ginger Eller; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Michael) Carew, Brent Williams, Ian Eller, Ryan Eller, Zachary (Amy) Caloritis, Tracy (Tom) Carpenter, and Danielle (Brittany) Wamser-Gross; along with countless friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 4:30 - 6:30 pm at the Milling Station Tap and Table, 50 Canning St, Hilton, NY 14468 (formerly Foster's Restaurant). In honor of Turtle, the family asks that you share a story, raise a toast, or enjoy a slice of peach cobbler in his memory.

Kevin's legacy is one of selflessness, love, and joy. Though gone too soon, his spirit will remain with all who were lucky enough to know him.
