With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ki'Srae Jatayvion-Roy Cowart, a cherished little angel born on March 20, 2025, in Lucedale, MS. Tragically, our beloved Ki' left this world too soon on November 4, 2025, in Jackson, MS, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Ki' was known to all as the most loving and adorable baby, his presence illuminating every room with laughter and warmth. His infectious smile brought boundless joy not only to his immediate family but to anyone who had the pleasure of being in his company. Every time he smiled, his little tongue would pop out, a delightful quirk that became a signature of his vibrant spirit. He was undoubtedly a mama's baby, embodying the unconditional love that exists in the bonds of family.
Though Ki' time with us was brief, it was filled with happiness. He was always laughing, truly the happiest baby. This ability to radiate joy, even in his tender age, will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to witness his sweet moments. His laughter and rosy cheeks were a reminder that beauty exists in the simple joys of life.
He is survived by his loving mother, Jazmynn Keria Cowart, who nurtured him with unending love in Lucedale, MS. Ki' family includes proud grandparents, Kacie and Ivan Perez of Lumberton, MS, and George and Samantha Cowart of Wiggins, MS. His paternal great-grandmother, Linda Saucier of Kiln, MS, His loving god mother Trisha Jones
He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, Haiveen Cowart, Nilya Cowart, Esmeralda "Bug" Cowart, and Isabella Castleberry, along with his uncles, Nolen Cowart and Haydeen Cowart. Cousins Everleigh Cowart and Josiah Woody will always cherish the moments they spent with their sweet little cousin.
Though Ki's journey was heartbreakingly short, he leaves behind a profound impact on his family and friends, reminding us of the preciousness of life and the love that binds us. His absence will be felt deeply, and the memories of his laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
Ki’s visitation will be held on November 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trinity Funeral Services McHenry, located at 319 U.S. 49, McHenry, MS. The funeral service will follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Rest in peace, dear Ki'. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
