Kianna Paige Barrows

Our beloved Kianna Paige Barrows was called home at the tender age of 20 on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, God wanted his angel, for a reason we will never understand. How do we as a family even begin to survive this tragedy, or paint her picture for those of you who did not have the pleasure of knowing this passionate, vibrant, light of our lives?
On November 12, 2001, Kianna blessed our family with her presence. So loved and adored, she wrapped us all around her little fingers and there was nothing we wouldn't do for her. As all children do, she grew and learned how to walk and talk, but talking became an adventure we all were subjected to, because we never knew what was going to come out of her mouth with her honest childlike innocence. She definitely kept us on our toes every minute of every day, & a quick example of this is a day our family were all in church. During the sign of peace her Papa hugged his friend. She stood up, stomped her little foot and yelled out for everyone to hear, Hey!!! He's married!!!! I'm going to tell my Bammy!!!! Of course we were all laughing, but she was serious and having none of it, so her daddy had to carry her out and console her. Oh the stories we have of the things she use to say, they would not only shock you, but have you in stitches. Kianna had a deep, fierce love for her family, and also her friends. She was kind to those who were different & shunned and ohh so giving. She learned from an early age that family is everything and in good times or bad, we always are there for one another and held that dear to her heart. She also was told from a very young age that there is nothing you can't do. Don't ever let anyone tell you or make you feel that you are less than or cannot achieve whatever you put your heart into. Our hearts are breaking that we will never know what her gifts and talents would have blessed this world with, and this world is lesser for it. She graduated from the Upper Cape Regional School in the field of Cosmetology. After graduation she moved on to help her grandfather at Julio's Upholstery when he needed her, loving to help her Papa.
To our community of love here in Falmouth and beyond, we cannot express how deeply you have touched our hearts with all of your support through calls, texts, offerings and love, we will never forget what you have done for us. We are truly humbled and blessed.
There is a saying that says, "Remember Me With Smiles & Laughter" I know that Kianna would want that for all of us as she shines in heaven through our tears.
Kianna is survived by her parents Robert and April Barrows and her brother Reece; grandparents Julio and Mary Barrows, Margaret and William Heelan, and Mark and Teresa Andrews; uncles Michael Barrows, Mark and Alexandra Andrews, David and Taryn Andrews, Chase and Carter Andrews; aunts Rosemary Oliver, Hayley Andrews and Deanna Barrows; and cousins Anthony and Renee Belisle, Jane Teresa Belisle, Eloise, Scarlett, Hudson, Stella, Mia and Ava Andrews. She was predeceased by her brother Ronald Renaud, Aunt Teresa Barrows, Great grandparents Manuel and Mary Rezendes, Julio and Altina Barrows, Mark and Patricia Andrews, and Great-great grandmother Carrie Oliver. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 4 – 7 PM at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 584 West Falmouth Highway, West Falmouth, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Highway, East Falmouth, MA. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
