Kieu Sager Obituary
She was born August 15, 1950 in Vietnam, to the late Giao Van Nguyen and Anh Thi Dinh.
Kieu retired from Harrisonburg City Schools as a cafeteria worker and attended Mathias Assembly of God Church.
On October 23, 1970 she married the former David Edwin Sager who preceded her in death on December 2, 2021.
Kieu is survived by two sons; Terry A. and wife Teresa Sager of Mathias WV, Tuan Nguyen and wife Lan of Maryland, daughter Xuan and husband Long Ben Dang of Fairfax; eight grandchildren, Haley Nicole Sager, Bethany Love Sager, Hang Thanh Nguyen and husband Minh Huynh, Tina Thuy Thanh Nguyen and husband Christopher Landi, Michael Thanh Hung Nguyen, Joann Thanh Oanh Nguyen, Benjamin Jerrette Dang, Amanda Nguyen Dang and Great Grandson Maximus Huynh, and siblings; Ven Thi Nguyen, Hang Thi Nguyen, Thu Thanh Nguyen, Mai Thi Nguyen, Hue Thi Nguyen.
In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Naomi Sager.
Pastor Daryl Dunsmore will conduct a graveside service 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Sager Family Cemetery in Mathias WV.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mathias Assembly of God Church, C/O Peter Sager, 19749 Brocks Gap Road, Bergton, VA 22811.
