Kim Artis Obituary
She survived by her daughters, Angela Dawson and Tonya Dawson; grandchildren, Ashlyn Watkins, Kaitlyn Holaway, Taureuna Watkins, Treyvon Avery, Kaden Dawson, Kinsley Hampton, Bishop Faulks, Alona Spurgeon, and Traelyn Avery; special friend, James Thomas; and brother, Timmy Mitchell.
Ms. Artis is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Artis; son, Jimmy Craig Dawson; parents, Hershel and Betty Jean Dickson; brother, Terry Mitchell; and grandparents, Wiley and Jewel Dickson.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Carr Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Carr Funeral Home. Ms. Artis will be laid to rest at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery in Union Grove.
Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
