Gaffney -- Kim Rebecca Buice, 63, of 1115 Pacolet Hwy, passed away on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at her home.
Born in, and lifelong resident of Gaffney, SC, she was the widow of Clyde Tony Buice, and the daughter of the late Francis and Ponese Hames. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Buice was preceded in death by one brother, Hennis Hames.
Mrs. Buice is survived by her children, Casey Buice, Tonya Turner (Dennis), and Tony Dixon, all of Gaffney; grandchildren, Jalia Lindsay, Aria Lindsay, and CJ Lindsay; five sisters, Deborah Lamb, Christine Chapman, Linda Fleming (Cedric), Alice Tyler, Virginia Owens (Wayne); two sisters-at-heart, Lynn Rhymer and Paulette Allison; three brothers, Lee Hames (Jennie), Bobby Hames (Pattie), Jerald Hames; one aunt, Doris Allison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, from 1:00-2:00pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel with Rev. Tim Osment officiating. Jerry Smith, Michael Smith, Johnny Whitaker, Doug Proveaux, Zac Smith, Dusty Pettit, and Stanley Burgess will serve as pallbearers. Robbie Hames will be an honorary pallbearer.
The burial will be at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Agape Hospice and Dr. Alwine and staff for their loving care.
The family will be at the residence.
