She was born on December 29, 1956 in Denver, CO the daughter of Ronald and Peggy Ann (Stewart) Geissert. Kim graduated from Wayzata High School in 1975. Kim was a graduate of the University of MN and was a proud member of Gamma Phi Beta and made lifelong friends with her sisters.
On August 4, 1991, Kim was joined in holy marriage to Thomas G. Bye in New Brighton, MN. God blessed their marriage with a daughter and a son. She was formerly employed as a Systems Manager at Dayton's. She was fond of doing crafts. Family came first to Kim, especially watching her children in sports.
Survived by her loving husband, Thomas G. Bye; children Ashley Bye and Benjamin Bye; a sister Sherry Geissert and family; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21 at 11 AM at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 8211 Red Oak Drive, Mounds View, MN. Visitation AT THE CHURCH one hour prior to services. Light luncheon will be served following the service.
