Kim Jenell Jackson entered into eternal rest at Slidell Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the age of 63. She was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. Kim was employed at Copeland of New Orleans as a Head Cook and also as a Personal Care Attendant. Devoted mother of Danielle Jackson (Ronnie), Ranata Jackson (Donsha), Takelia Jackson (Terrence), Lakelia Jackson (Clifford), Ernestha Jackson (Noland), and Keland Jackson. Beloved daughter of the late Edward Jackson and Gussie Lee Jackson. Loving sister of Edward Jackson, Brian Hooper, Glenda Turner, Robin Jackson, Lisa Jackson and the late Jackie Jackson. Niece of the late Deborah Shorty. Aunt of the late Calvin Jackson. Kim is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
