Kim M. Herald O'Neill, 56, of Troy, beloved wife of the late Richard P. O'Neill, I, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dolores Kelly Herald and was a graduate of Berlin Central High School.

Kim was a homemaker and had previously been employed by the New York State Department of taxation and Finance in Albany. Most of all, Kim loved being a mother, nurturing her children and even more so her grandchildren, which were her pride and joy that she loved with all her heart.

She loved angels, teddy bears, dolphins, crafts and to crochet blankets. Kim had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back.

Devoted mother of Rachael M. (Richard Brundige) O'Neill, James W. (Jennifer) O'Neill and Richard P. (Danielle) O'Neill, II, cherished grandmother of Kevin Brundige, Isabella O'Neill, Jayden Brundige, Brandon Brundige, Chloe O'Neill, Bailey O'Neill, Richard Brundige, Jr., and Jack Daniels Brundige, sister of the late Rosemarie (husband, Nelson) Sweener, aunt of William Joseph (Alice) Sweener, Sr., great aunt of Breanna Sweener, Lexie Sweener, Zach Sweener and the late William Joseph Sweener, Jr., also survived by numerous adopted nieces and nephews and their children.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave (at the corner of 115 th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon where at Noon the funeral service to include shared Memories, Reflections and Prayers will begin.

Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy.

Kim's family would like to offer their most sincere appreciation to the Samaritan Hospital ICU as well as to her daughter-in-law Jennifer O'Neill and son-in-law Richard Brundige for their love and care.
