A Rose Was Planted
Kim Hill Smith affectionally known as "Mz.Smitty" was born to the late Georgia Marshall and Ralph Young in Dayton, Ohio on August 7th 1966.
A Rose Began to Bloom
Kim later moved to Newnan, GA where she attended Newnan High School and joined the Newnan Cougars basketball and track teams. During this time she came across and met some phenomenal people one specifically the "Love of Her Life" Willie Lee "Smitty" Smith.
Upon graduating in 1984 she went on to become a mother of 2 Ciera in 1986 and Qyshia 1988. She and her "Ride or Die" Partner found their way back to each and married May 31st 1996. This covenant of marriage would produce 4 beautiful girls. Marsha, Angel, Ciera and Qyshia.
Kim "Mz.Smitty" was gainfully employed by Coweta County Schools as the Infamous "Mrs. Smith" the ISS teacher and bus driver upon leaving there she was employed by Southwest "AirTran" Airlines until she suffered health issues in 2020.
As we all know Kim had an undeniable love for motorcycles and the motorcycle community where she got the memorable nickname "Mz.Smitty" and even got her own slingshot to ride with her husband and MC family to any destination she was ALWAYS KNOWN TO TAKE UP THE REAR!
A Rose to Be Picked
She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish in her memory her soulmate and amazing husband Willie L Smith. 4 Amazing Girls, Marsha Smith, Angel(Chris) Washington, Ciera Melson and Qyshia(Prentice) Hollins. Her devoted and 2 loving brothers Ralph(Jennie)Allen and Paul Allen. 1 sister Yolanda Howard. 2 Sister in laws Glenda(Terrance)Parks, Linda(Robert)Cleveland. 1 brother in law Willie Joe (Martina) Smith. Her dad Melvin Satterwhite. And her 11 strawberries: Kyrsten, Kaitlyn, Kameron, Alayceon, Kaydence, Ceryniti, Kamille, Jacorius Jr, Christopher Jr, Christian and Kasen. 1 Great Granddaughter Ky'Omi.
Special Family and Friends: James(Barbara)Dodds, Rod(Kathy)Stephens, Kevin(Kaci)Paden, Brian(Michelle)Ball, Connie Colton and Peggy Kendrick. A host of nieces and nephews as well as adopted daughters and sons. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Kim, please visit our Tree Store.
