Kimberlin Nicole Slaughter, 32, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born in London, Kentucky on March 5, 1993; daughter of Nicole Maxey and the late James Maxey. She was a passionate artist who found joy in painting and expressing her creativity through various forms. She ran a small business where she brought images to life-creating custom shirts, shoes, and other personalized works of art. Her love for music was ever-present; it filled her days and brought her comfort and inspiration. Above all, she deeply loved her children. She cherished every moment spent with them and was devoted to caring for their needs and well-being.
She is survived by her children, Raelyn Slaughter, Payson Slaughter, Adaline Slaughter, and Avory Slaughter; her mother, Nicole Maxey; and her maternal grandmother, Tonya Stall; siblings, Dawnita Aguilera, Stormi Maxey, and Cheyenne Maxey.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Maxey; and maternal grandfather, David Stall and paternal grandparents, Sug & Ivory Maxey.
In honoring Kimberlin's wishes there will be no services.
