Kimberly Lynn Bounds, "Baby Doll” was a devoted, faithful, loving, and caring wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Kim found peace in God's arms December 1, 2023, as her year long battle with cancer came to an end.  Kim was 61 years old.

Born to Charles and Meredith Davis on July 25, 1962.  She was the oldest sister to three loving brothers, Curtis, Kelly and Brandon who adored her. She loved to dance and was a member of the Kaufman Lionettes and served as the Captain her senior year.  She was also voted Miss Kaufman. She was a part of the Kaufman High School Class of 1980.  After graduation, she joined the legendary Tyler Junior College Apache Belles.

She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Bounds, on September 24, 1983 at the age of 21, knowing he would be hers way before then. Writing his name in hearts in her sixth grade notebook as a fruition of their beautiful life that was to come. Together they had three children: Lindsey, Ryanne, and Ryder. As a wife and mother, Kim was absolute in the care, devotion, and love she poured into each of them. All left forever molded into a family by her guiding hands. As her children began to have children, she filled the role of grandmother with grace, love, and purpose. She was Baby Doll.  A name she cherished deeply and held dear from her childhood.

Motherhood suited her in all aspects of life amongst family and friends. Forever the mother hen to all who knew her abilities and opened their heart to her wisdom and faith.  Her home was always warm and welcoming to those who entered her doorway.  She loved her Soul Sisters dearly - Vicky, Charlene and Cindy.

Throughout her battle with cancer, her faith in God never wavered.  She was ready to go home to see her Lord and Savior and dance in heaven.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11
