Kimberly Cornell October 11, 1962 ~ October 12, 2025
Kimberly Cornell, 63, Marion, passed away at 7:13 am on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, October 11, 1962, to Kenneth and Freda Reynolds. Kimberly graduated from Marion High School and Tucker and then worked retail at Sears. In her younger years, she helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity and had been a part of the women's auxiliary for Center Twp Volunteer Fire Dept. She was in High Steppers at Marion High School. She was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed making crafts and going out to the reservoir. She was an avid Bigfoot fan and even went Bigfoot hunting. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with them.
Survivors include her life partner, Christopher Covey; children, Heather Boots of Gas City, David (Elizabeth) Cornell of New London, WI, Michael (Ariel) Cornell of Marion, Robert (Jessica) Cornell of Hartford City, Allison Hostetler of Alexandria; grandchildren, Scott W. Thompson, Joseph Kaski, Chloe Kaski, Ezra Boots, Harley Cornell, Liliana Cornell, Chapel Cornell, Ava-Lynn Cornell, Kenzley Cornell, Deacon Cornell; great-grandchildren, Camden Eyer, Elizabeth Eyer, Kulten Biggs, Lunafreya Thompson, and Elias Thompson; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth G. "Pappy" and Freda Lena Reynolds; sister, Patsy Simison; and brother, Kevin A. Reynolds.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Kimberly's life will begin at 5:00 pm with Pastor Johnny Armes officiating. Burial will take place at Van Buren Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to invite those friends and family to a cookout after the service for continued celebration of Kimberly's life.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Center Township Volunteer Fire Dept 1605 E. 38th St., Marion, IN 46953.
