Kimberly Ann (Erwin) Grenier, 59, of Syracuse, passed away at home on October 22, 2025. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Stephen and Rosemary (Miceli) Erwin. Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science and Nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse at Camillus Surgery Center. She loved reading, especially Stephen King novels, and enjoyed watching crime shows and horror movies. Although her greatest joy and achievement was her children.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Matthew Grenier in 2019; her brother, Thomas Erwin and her beloved dog, Lily.
Kimberly is survived by her children, Kyle (Allison) Thomson, Benjamin (Chelsea Akkoul) Thomson, Cody Thomson, and Madelyn (Cole Oppedisano) Thomson; her six grandchildren, Natalie, Lucas, Jacob, Joseph, Bailey and Brielle Thomson; siblings, Dawn (Jack) Zingaro, Deborah (Thomas) Clark, Stephen (Deborah) Erwin, and Barbara Jean Erwin; her sister-in-law, Laurie Erwin; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, Dawn Scrantino, and her dogs, Lucy and Ricky.
Special thanks to all our family and friends for your love and support during this difficult time.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11 am – 1pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Kimberly's life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The ALS Association Upstate NY Chapter at 135 Old Cove Rd., Liverpool, NY 13090.
