Kimberly Diane Gustafson, 57, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 2:30 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, in Valley View Healthcare Center, Elkhart, Indiana. Kimberly was born on August 25, 1967 in South Bend, Indiana to Donald White, Sr. and Sharon Starkweather. On December 26, 1987 in St. Mary's Polish National Church she married Lars Thomas Gustafson, who survives. Kimberly is also survived by two daughters, Tiffani (Eric) Felder of North Liberty, Indiana and Brandi G. Gustafson of South Bend, Indiana; one son, Codi Gustafson of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren, Faith Jean Felder, Grace Anne Felder and Hope Diane Felder; her mother, Sharon Hammond of Niles, Michigan; her father, Donald White, Sr. of Anderson, Indiana; and two brothers, Donald White, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Anderson, Indiana and Bart (Courtney) Bush of South Bend, Indiana. A Time of Sharing will take place at 10:00 a.m. with a Catholic Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Kimberly was a 1985 graduate of Clay High School where she was a member of the Flag Corps. She was a longtime member of 4-H. Kimberly was a homemaker and a wonderful mother who made everyone she crossed paths with feel loved and welcome. Memorial Contributions should be directed to the American Cancer Society.
