Danny L. Ullery Sr., 88, of South Bend, IN., passed away at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 in his residence.
Danny was born on April 22, 1937 in South Bend, to John and Pearl (Smith) Ullery.
On March 21, 1973 in South Bend Danny married Mary Ann Woodka. Mary survives along with their daughter, Noel Marie Ullery Cason (Victor) of Mishawaka, IN., and his daughter, Kelly Ullery Schukula (Paul) of Edmund, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, his sister, Sharon Leinen of Tennessee and his beloved pet, Baby Henry.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Danny L. Ullery Jr. in December 2024.
Danny served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division and worked for South Bend Stamp as a machine repairman retiring in 1999 after 34 years of service and he was a 1957 graduate of Clay High School.
Danny's wish was to have his body donated to the Indiana University School of Medicine. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
