Kim Hardy, age 53, of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly while vacationing in Wyoming on Sunday, July 21, 2024. She was born on Sunday, January 24, 1971, in Farmington to Robert Lee and Brenda May (Barton) Hardy I.
Kim was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert Leon and Betty Jean Hardy and maternal grandparents, Russell and Florence Barton.
Kim's professional life was painted with hard work and dedication to Administrative Healthcare. She spent many years not only building a career but building countless friendships along the way. Throughout her life, she enjoyed horseback riding with friends and family. Always looking for a new adventure, Kim was a traveler who always looked forward with excitement to visiting each new place she found. Above all else, her most high honor was earning the title of “Nonnie." Nothing compared to the absolute love and pride she had for her five young grandchildren. She filled their young lives with warmth and laughter, providing a lifetime of memories to treasure.
Kim is survived by her children, Lauren Miller and husband Tyler, Zach Barnes and wife Starr, Tucker Barnes and wife Taylor; grandchildren, Brynn, Embree and Jack Miller, Lochlan and Lincoln Barnes; parents, Robert and Brenda Hardy; siblings, Belinda Boehm, Robert “Rob” Lee Hardy II and wife Angie and her fiancé Brian Barth along with other family and numerous friends.
Kim Hardy's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her surviving family members, her beloved children, siblings and extended family. Although she has gone too soon, all will remember the warm conversations, gentle touch and bright smile of a daughter, sister, mother, Nonnie and friend.
Visitation will be held a C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume Monday, July 29, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Rob Hardy will be officiating. Burial to follow at Big River Cemetery in Irondale.
