Kimberly Jane Schneller, 54, of Columbus, passed away on June 17, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born in Columbus on December 11, 1970, to Mayme “Pat” (Masters) Young and the late Michael Swisher.
Kim is survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Mayme and Michael Young; her daughter, Paige (Brandyn); and her beloved grandchildren, Ava and Asher. She is also survived by her brothers, John and Michael (Mickey) Swisher. Along with nephews Tyler and Alex Swisher, as well as many other cherished family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Swisher, and cousins Matt Matt, Danny, and Mandy.
Kim graduated from Westland High school in 1988 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Business from Franklin University. She was proud to serve as an HR Generalist at Waterworks, where she was known for her professionalism and compassion.
Outside of work, Kim found her greatest joy in her family. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren, proudly serving as their biggest supporter—always present at Ava’s cheer practices and competitions, earning her the title of “Cheer Mawmaw.” And no matter how ornery her grandson could be, Asher could do no wrong in her eyes. Her unconditional love for her family was evident in all she did.
Kim was a devoted daughter, a loving mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love. Of all the roles she held in life, being a mother and grandmother was her most treasured. Her warmth touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will be lovingly carried in our hearts forever.
