Kimberly Rachelle Hodges, 53, of
Forrest City, Arkansas, peacefully transitioned from this life on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the home of her sister in
Forrest City, Arkansas. She was born on February 14, 1972, in
Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Samuel Peter Brown and Sylvia Hodges.
A lifelong resident of St. Francis County, Kimberly was known for her kind spirit, quiet strength, and deep love for her family and friends. She was united in holy matrimony to Daron Sparkman on April 18, 2014, and together they shared a loving and devoted union.
Kimberly was employed by the Forrest City School District in the Child Nutrition Department until her health began to fail. She took great pride in her work and treasured the relationships she built with the students and staff.
In her leisure time, Kimberly enjoyed playing card games, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family. She also found joy in trying her luck from time to time for fun and entertainment. She especially loved going out to eat with her husband, and seafood was her favorite. Her warm smile and caring heart made a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Kimberly will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who cherished every moment with her loved ones. Her resilience, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Peter Brown and Sylvia Hodges; and her brothers, Randolph Hodges and S. P. Brown, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving husband, Daron Sparkman of
Forrest City, Arkansas; her children, Kiarra Crawford and Ivonia Brown, Saroya Sparkman, and De'ryn Sparkman, all of
Forrest City, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Sarai Neal of
Forrest City, Arkansas; her siblings, Janice McNutt of Memphis, Tennessee, Wesley Curtis (Katha) Hodges, Jr. of Caldwell, Texas, Brenda (Dwight) Forest of Madison, Arkansas, Laura Anderson, Benny Hodges (Anna Britt), Barry Hodges, Scotty Hodges, Chantale Hodges, and Roderick Hodges, all of
Forrest City, Arkansas, Nequlia Tucker of Madison, Arkansas, and Thomas Brown of Dallas, Texas, Elliotte Brown, Clifton Brown, Bobbie Brown Patterson, Darlene Hines, Geraldine Goodwin, Matthew Brown, and Yolanda Brown, all of
